VELOX SIL – KIT
FOUL-RELEASE for propellers
VELOX Sil is a kit composed of a brand new silicone foul-release antifouling and an innovative hybrid primer, free from biocides and substances of very high concern (SVHC) for the health of the operator, such as carcinogenic substances.
It therefore has a lower environmental impact and simplifies the management of safety of the shipyard (environmental authorizations, chemical risk assessment, health surveillance of applicators as per European Directive 2004/37/EC, which also mandates the substitution of carcinogenic or mutagenic substances with less hazardous alternatives.
VELOX SIL has been field-tested with results that have allowed the product to be perfected until reaching an exceptional result, exceeding expectations both in terms of adhesion and effectiveness.

VELOX SIL keeps immersed surfaces clean thanks to the surface tension of the silicone finish, which causes any organisms to detach with the movement of the propeller or with light cleaning with a sponge.

PRIME Sil is a hybrid epoxy primer with a unique and innovative blend of resins that provides exceptional adhesion to metal parts and resists the extreme conditions of galvanic currents and cavitation. Specifically designed for the VELOX Sil silicone finish.
